Blow it up. I like the first round being best of three, then even a championship weekend where it's single elimination at one site for the remaining eight. Make it Wed, Friday, Saturday for the championship. Or something like that.

Good stuff. I was getting ridiculed by my family who have all been SIOUX fans for longer than me because of my antics and cursing and expectations of perfection during yesterday's game. I too am greatly disappointed and have a definite SIOUX hangover today, like losing a close friend. I too want # 8 to be hung and was hoping it was for Danny and Cor-ban. But alas, we failed. But I would not trade constant success and excitement at being close for Duluth's one moment of glory and then real mediocrity or even poor results. Go SIOUX!

We are also staying in a motel for the weekend. They carry midco but don't have ESPNU, so that may be your issue too.

Midco does do ESPNU. My in laws have it on their midco package (not sure which package). They have it in HD and SD. We watched it in their living room and we were jumping around high fiving and screaming at the tv after the two goals.

Just orange stripes call penalties, although a linesman will go to a ref and advise on calls after a stoppage. I still think this was a BS situation, even if I totally enjoy watching Gwoz and co get screwed.

Yep my son and I both made our first NHL together for the Wild - Sharks game. He is only 6 but loves hockey. He wants to watch NHL network in the morning while eating breakfast. Definitely my son! We had a great time together at that game.
