And the excuse last year? When we did have the "scoring" and "healthy bodies"? See that's the point that all of you "rah rah" guys don't get. It's ALWAYS SOMETHING. When are we just going to admit that we have a GREAT regular season coach who doesn't show up in the post season? It's always something. And then we have the fans who are just "happy to be there" every year. MN hasn't been in the playoffs for 4 years and are about to go to the Frozen Four and in my opinion, will have no trouble at all winning it all. Yet, our fans are of the opinion that it's better to "be there" year after year after year. Please, we have as many titles as Michigan Tech and Alaska Anchorage do in the last decade, yet we should feel better because we are "in it" every year? Sorry, not gonna cut it for some fans. I'd rather not make the tournament for 4 years if it means we can WIN IT ALL in year 5. However, we'll never do that because Hak's teams can never close. Get a coach in here who can GAME PLAN for the big ones, not choke it all away every year.

Couldn't agree more bro!! I would say that Hak has done a tremendous job this year though. Other than that, I would have to say he's had some pretty top tier talent and done nothing with it. Just "being there" like you say isn't good enough for me either. UND should have at least 2 titles under Hak and he's came home empty handed year after year. Plus the NH choke job, Yale, last year, it gets old. And for you fans and your "hot goalie" talk, doesn't that get old year after year after year as an excuse? It'd be nice if we had the "hot goalie" for once, or if we could score on the "hot goalie" like every other team does the next game. Post of the year imo man!

No problem pal. I've brought us the same amount of National Championships as Hakstol has. And I'm doing it for FREE. He has had the most talent in the last decade than any other team in the country and still has produced SQUAT. You "happy to be there" fans can take all of your frozen four "appearances". I've been a UND hockey fan for 2 decades and expect NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS from a program with the history that UND has. Hakstol CHOKES time and time again and gets outcoached by Hockey East time and time again. We don't need to pay a coach an arm and a leg to do that. So again, my "resume" for you includes ZERO National Championships. The same that our overrated coach has. Good enough for ya?
