  1. No doubt. That bites. We need some offense!!
  2. The lack of offense this weekend is just staggering.
  3. Thanks for the quick stats! So as I am looking at those numbers it appears to me that the Gophers have a 30% or so chance of getting that last at-large seat? That's a wee better than I had hoped for, but I can live with that.
  4. We owe the Bulldogs one after the way they treated the Sioux at the DECC in November. It's time to train some Dawgs to sit and stay!! GO SIOUX!!!
  5. If Watty can snipe that pass once or twice it would take that away the rest of the game. But yes, Stalock is a great puck handler, and he sees the ice pretty well from back there. I'd love to see Eidsness get that mastery of the pass in a year or two...
  6. Nope. The pwr can shift more than that this weekend depending on the outcome of all the other games. Teams below 14 are playing and hope to move up through a win or a COP/TUC loss.
  7. Uh huh...just ignore that sea of GREEN AND WHITE you see tomorrow night and Saturday night then.
  8. Statistically, maybe not, but the odds of them making the "dance" are awfully slim right now. Anorexic, in fact.
  9. Excellent! Goldy sits!!! See you all tomorrow night at "The X"!! GO SIOUX!!!
  10. I know Stalock and Co. will be tough opponents, but I'm relishing the end of the Gopher season right here, right now.
  11. That sounds nasty. I'm glad I wasn't at that game. If only it would have been Frazee...
  12. He shredded the Sioux with that breakout pass in Duluth last fall. Caught 'em on the change way too many times.
  13. I'll definitely pull for Lameroux all the way. He's had a great season at Air Force, and he's part of our extended Sioux family. ;-)
  14. Beavers win in OT. They are in the Sweet 16!
  15. Provided Kangas doesn't sieve out.
  16. Well done Fighting Sioux!! Git 'er done tomorrow night!!
  17. Post-win PEPPER stop is a MUST!! GO SIOUX!!!
  18. It's high time to put the trap to shame! SWEEP TECH!!! Let's Go SIOUX!!
  19. Not going to kill you, but a loss isn't where you want to be this time of year. It's all about the PWR. IF the Sioux lose again, I'd just as soon it was tomorrow night as anything, but I really don't want to see them lose another game this season. There are a LOT of seniors on this team. Correction. There are a LOT of HUNGRY seniors on this team. They know what is at stake this time of year. I hope they feed themselves with every chance they get.
  20. Agreed. And not just because I'm from Bemidji. I understand Walsky has put in his time...he's worked hard, been there for his team through thick and thin. And he's worn the Green and White with pride, and given 100% when he's on the ice. I also think he knows full well all about the PWR and will understand why he doesn't start tomorrow if, indeed, he doesn't. He's a team player, and he'll stand his post with pride. That is the Sioux way. If he starts, he'll give his all. If he's on the bench, he'll be ready to come in at any moment. Like he always has.
  21. I said at the beginning of the season that IF the Sioux had a goalie, they'd be right there in the thick of it all year. Well...after tonights game (and many others this year), I think it's safe to say...we HAVE a goalie. WELCOME HOME Mr. McNaughton!!!
  22. Congratulations to the Fighting Sioux on a great season! Goal 1 has been met! Go get the rest!!! GO SIOUX!!!
