Someone mentioned in the other thread that if Jackson gets it he will need to clean house. Hoping that is true. Would Herter even wantt to make a lateral move as an assistant and come here?
Here is hoping for the best with Jackson. Wasn't my choice but what are we going to do hope he fails so we can say told you so. Let's get things going in the right direction and hopefully we will be back fighting for the top spot in the nation sooner rather than later.
With Dane having been an assistant at UND the last 19 years which includes being the associate head coach under Berry, what then makes Dane a new direction for the program?
So these "interviews" Chaves is supposedly conducting today are along the lines of what the New England Patriots did in January interviewing Pep Hamilton and Byron Leftwich to circumvent the Rooney Rule. In other words these dudes had no shot at getting hired.
At this point I don't care if it is the ghost of Michael Jackson coaching next year as long as the product on the ice can compete with what we are seeing in the tournament because right now this squad is far from it.
So IF Jackson is hired and will run things differently here is a question then why has he stuck around if his voice wasn't being heard and why did Berry keep him on if they were butting heads?
