The top team in the land visits the Ralph. Denver @ UND

I don’t buy that look at DUs roster not too different in the types of players but how they are coached is making a massive difference in outcomes at the end of a season. -

Especially on the goalie side of things. -

All the they played well and gave a good effort talk is one step short of being satisfied getting a participation ribbon. -

Every time DU had the puck they looked dangerous UND looked like a bunch of Peewees when they had the puck with no idea what to do. -
The month of September gave this program false hope.

2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

This is a group of individuals that lost to Augustana on home ice. Let me repeat that lost to Augustana on home ice. Finishing in the bottom half of the league would not be a surprising turn of events. -

As of today this isn't a team it is a group of individuals with absolute zero chemistry. -

This group of individuals is a lost cause. They have absolute zero chemistry and just play as a bunch of individuals. You can't win a championship in November but you sure can lose one. -

Feel like DU is toying with us. -
He has a new website www.highschoolhockeynd.com

With a win next week any chance of post season?
-
UND stays close for 3 quarters with the home field Alerus magic. Jacks score couple of 4th quarter TDs to put it away. 31-13 Jacks.
-
The 16 year old verbal committ does mean squat. So much can happen in the next 2-4 years that will probably make this obsolete. No need for SCSU fans to get too excited.
-
QU doesn’t get the blue chippers which would send people through the roof here.
-
Has Chaves ever fired anyone anywhere?? My gut tells me no.
-
There is nothing that would happen now anyway as it won't happen at all. That being said we might be buried in the PWR before things get figured out and by then it is too late.
-
Problem you will have is who will replace him. This is the UND hockey program we are talking about so in all liklihood it would be Dane Jackson so not much of a change and we would be looking at the 2016 title being the only one over 30 years Hak, Berry and then Jackson ran this ship.
-
What these 2 programs need is for tomorrow to be Black Sunday and Berry and Bubba are given their walking papers. Chaves is to big of a p@$$y to do that being the weakest AD in the country.

Meant for a different thread but I disagree. The five goals were in a span of what 7 minutes and several of those goals were a result of just bad goal tending. There was no real sustained pressure and at the end of the period the shots on goal were almost even at 11. In fact early in the second UND was getting out shot yet up by 5.
-
Not even close to passing the eye test. I would even say last Friday's 7 goal game wasn't that impressive. Way closer than the final score would indicate.
-
This is the most overrated team in college hockey right now. With supposedly high end skill players and can't consistently put the puck in the net. Get 20 shots a game and struggles to get one to go in.
-
Not so sure about that, this is a team that lost at home to Augustana.
-
They were a one seed, won an NCAA tournament game and made it to a regional final that year
-
Not with only 24 shots on goal.
