But isn't FSN "north" broadcast throughout the upper midwest? I'd feel much better if they called it FSN "minneapolis" so there is some justification for the gopher love affair, otherwise show other schools that the station broadcasts to, I would rather watch other WCHA games that do not involve gophers.

I totally agree. North Dakota fans have for too long offended the proud heritage of the Golden Gopher by referring to it as a "Goofer." Fire Helmet is dead on here. It is totally the same thing. Let's learn a lesson from our sophisticated neighbors to the east. Thank you so much!

The Sox are worse... they embody every negative aspect which people use as reasons for hating the Yankees. I can accept the Yankees using payrolls to win championships, but when Boston does the same thing and Sox Nation uses that same fact to hate the Yankees makes them worse. There is a hypocritical aspect to the Red Sox that makes me cheer* for the Yankees. * for lack of a better word.
