Arizona STATE? Am I missing an inside joke here?

Saw the same thing at TC on Friday night. Walked out between periods and saw about 20-30 young fans hanging out in the concourse pounding down their beers. Went back to my seat but had to walk out at the 10:00 mark of the period to use the restroom...same bunch of "fans" still there. Came out again after another period ending and they were STILL there. Now, keep in mind, there are no TVs and you have no view from the concrete area ouside the arena. I couldn't believe it. Pay $25-$75 per ticket just to hang out in a cold concrete room and booze it up. Hope you guys had fun!

Hockey only two cents: The logo on the front of the jersey is the logo that should be on the banners in REA. Hockey sweaters have a special meaning and it's a shame that the logo on most of those banners as they currently hang is NOT one that the respective teams wore on their chest. FIX IT!

Agree 100%. I actually groaned out loud during the UND/Denver game last Friday when certain sections tried igniting the "SIOUX FOREVER" chant. I wear the Sioux jersey, that's enough for me.

I don't care if it's Bloomington Ice Gardens or Dickinson's hockey arena - just keep bidding on regionals and play in front of friendly fans!

Tom Anastos resigned as Michigan State's head coach today. That's the fourth coaching opening of the season - RPI, Niagara, and Northern Michigan will be filling vacancies as well. Some good opportunities for young coaches to get their feet wet as the head guy. Will be interesting to see who winds up someplace else next season. I'm thinking Mike Guentzel would at least listen to Michigan State if they call - unless he wants to hang around another decade being the lady-in-waiting at Minnesota.

The logo looks infinitely better with the white outline around the N and O D.

Oh, I think the folks at the X also had panic attacks about UND not making the Final Five...a FF at the X minus UND and Minnesota would have been a disaster. We just need to find that second team willing to attend every season religiously (cough, cough, St Cloud State fans, cough, cough, UMD Bulldog fans).

How many of the 13 Final Fives held at the X did those schools make or last for more than one game? Not many. Wisconsin missed a handful as well - or was a bye-bye after the Thursday game. Even Wisconsin didn't send a ton of fans - they only came if UW got to the title game (2013). Minnesota is far and away the biggest loss.
