Winning 0 national titles doesn't make the former Sioux logo look bad any more than winning 2 titles with the bonnet-head logo make the 1997 and 2000 logo look good.

That's not what you said at all. You said that this year's Utah team was far better than last year's Iowa team. Utah is 1-6 in their last 7 games including blowout losses at Oregon (20-41) and at home against Arizona State (10-30).
