This season UNI is down, Illinois St has stepped up but other than those two the conference is pretty blah but would probably have a tougher SOS than the SL. Two bids only if WSU doesn't win the conference tournament.

To some people especially to the folks on AGS us beating USD and Missouri State would be a lot bigger wins than if we were to beat Utah. MVFC > FBS

Looking at the schedule still has 2 things I hate, 5 home games and a bye week at the end of the season.

1990 Southwest Missouri St is the only team to get an at large bid. #9 while Northern Iowa got a #14 seed. The only SL member whose ranking was in the single digits. Since then the highest was a 12 seed with SDSU getting that last season. I doubt anyone from the SL gets an at large bid unless they knock off a lot of ranked teams and have maybe 3 or 4 losses all season basically your RPI has to be extremely high like Kansas high.

Actually it was the SU's the Big Sky didn't want, they offered full membership for USD.

If Grand Forks is so gung ho on women's hockey as some think why isn't there enough girls from Central and Red River to field a team separately? It's either a money thing or a popular thing, ND fields 17 schools on the boys side with 8 in the east region alone, there is 11 schools (some combined) in the state that sponsor girls hockey. Maybe it's not as popular as some think.
