AZ,
It looks like I have picked a great season to see my first games in North Dakota. #2 ranking in the nation--the state must be EXTRA geared up for this weekend.
Hey JFR, did you get tickets for the Duluth series yet?
-
For those of you going to the Wisconsin series in November, single game tickets went on sale this morning. Here is the link to order online:
I just picked up great lower level tickets in Sections 106 & 107 for $22 each.

Looks like Kovalchuk may be moving to right wing to play on a line with Zach and Travis. That could be fun to watch!
-
Hey if you'd only won like 4 of your last 15 against them (haven't checked the real numbers), you'd be trying to forget UND too.
4 of the last 18 to be precise.

I think somebody should work on getting JFR to do the special "Let's Go Sioux" introduction that is usually done by celebrities in the building (Oshie, Gov. Hoven, Belfour, etc.)
Maybe somebody could get him an intermission interview with Sweeney also.

Madison and Alfond at U of Maine are the two best road atmospheres I've been to.
Agree on U of Maine. Incredible atmosphere.
Haven't been to Madison for a game yet, but hoping to go this year.

The last rookie goaltender to lead his team to a Cup Finals victory was Patrick Roy in the mid 80s.
Cam Ward?

I'm happy the seats worked out for you Sioux-cia!

Some people were asking earlier in this thread about Tanner Lane from Detroit Lakes. According to CollegeHockey247 it looks like he's talking with some WCHA schools:

Just a thought, but did Marto ever play forward in his younger days? With the way he moves the puck up the ice, I'm just wondering if that would be a possibility to move him up due to the logjam at D next season.

I read that when reading my breakfast this morning what a buffoon.
Alphabits?

I just updated my signature today with Mazzocco's quote after the Final Five championship. Maybe that was the final straw!

Who is MASN?? Where are they out of?
Mid Atlantic Sports Network. Baltimore area. Obviously a big college hockey area!

Looks like the St. Cloud - N. Michigan game was picked up by MASN (channel 640 on Directv). Here's the list:

Hey,
The wife and I are flying to Vegas Sunday morning and looking forward to the games that day (hopefully including the Sioux game).
Can anyone recommend a good sportbook or bar to watch the games at in Vegas? We're staying at Harrah's and I called the sportsbook who confirmed they would have the game(s) on at least 1 TV there.
Thought about going to the Imperial Palace for the game, for the Sioux ties, but maybe someplace else would be better?
Thanks for the help.
GO SIOUX!
ps: Will I be able to bet money on this game there?
New York New York has an ESPN Zone that's a pretty good place to watch games. There's a sports book right next to it also.
-
Looks like FSN-North is also picking up the Bemidji State - Michigan game:
-
Glad to hear I can see it here at the New Jersey Shore
GO FIGHTING SIOUX!!!
GO SCARLET KNIGHTS!!!
Your not gonna make the trip up to Worcester?
-
Anyone know if this will be in HD?
It will not.
-
If it's on FSN then anyone with Direct TV can purchase the Sports package and receive the game (and the ESPN U channel.)
Channel 668 on Directv.

Called and talked to Cory Johnson. Very nice guy. He also said he's received alot of calls. I told him that we are very passionate about our team, and that they would probably continue to get calls until some kind of announcement is made.

Is there even a broadband provider in the Fargo-Moorhead area that has an agreement with ESPN 360? I'm not seeing it. If this is the case, I'm guessing there will be no options to see the game live at a bar anywhere in town? Is our only hope that one of the local cable companies or stations picks up the ESPN Syndication?
This is frustrating!

Actually, last year they sent out letters around December telling you where your seats would be located. I'm not sure if that was just for Detroit, or we can expect it again this year. It sure is nice to know a few months ahead of time.
