This kid is the real deal. Here are his numbers at Moorhead in his freshman & sophomore seasons: 27 GP 15-29-44 31 GP 32-46-78 If he replicated his sophomore numbers next year, he would be close to the all-time scoring record in Moorhead as a junior. Here were his numbers in the HS Elite league last year after his freshman season: 19 GP 12-9-21 I really hope Dane can land him. Exactly! A team full of freshmen & sophomore D-men is a horrible formula for postseason success.

I really hope there's nothing to the rumors some are saying that pressure from current players is having a hand in possibly keeping Jackson. I think one poster stated it best .. this should be a decision about the next 10-15 years, not next season. I'd gladly take a rebuilding season or two if it meant setting us up for sustainable success.

If he is truly your guy you lock him up for several years with a big buyout.
