    Hak gets win 250 last night. Congrat to him. Lots of wins in his tenure...bout 25 a season. That's due to really "good" coaching. I'll use the term "great" when he gets #8.

    OD is not a grinder. He and St Clair should been flipped IMO. This team struggles to produce offense. Trying to see how these change are going to improve on that?

    Clark goes to 4-0 in Friday night games. 4-2 w ENG to seal it. Simpson and Mattson have to play better and Schmaltz can be dominant if he wants.

    Rebounding and defense have more to do with effort and hard work than talent. From a handful of games I have watched effort in those 2 categories for an entire game has been a major issue. If a coach at any level can not get consistent effort from his/her players IMO that's a big issue.

    Exactly...to suggest beating SU this season is a signature win in the Jones era shows how some have lowered the bar expectation wise.

    No luck needed........... My bad on the spelling. Actually my night will consist of taking 3 teenage girls, one is my daughter, to the game tonight. Not a bad way to spend Valentine's Day night.

    Schloss not seeing rainbows and dewy meadows, like I did as well, this weekend vs last. He is calling for a split. Against the last place team in the NCHC at home a split shouldn't happen but with UND's PP, bipolar goaltendering, lack of consistent scoring and effort I don't see a sweep either. Cue the breakdown from the brilliant mind that is Dave...............

    I thought Oshie played very very well. Parise was solid. Toews was his normal self playing extemely well in all phases.

    Clark can play Friday (3-0) if Zane needs an extra day but not Saturday (0-3).

    Yes they did. Surprising what can happen on the dump and chase when the team dumping it in actually gets to the puck FIRST on occasion!

    So you would fall on isle side #2. No problem. Such a d**k! I, with my oldest daughter at my side, have had a few personal interactions with Hak. To his defense a d**k he is not.

    So Hak should go because beebs, gfhockey and siouxvikes think.......Gwoz can do a better job? Wow!! And Mafia got schooled...that's pretty chesty or as the beeb's says "jerky". Simply put there are 2 sides of the isle here...1) those who think Hak has done a very good job compared to the overall landscape of college hockey so far during his tenure. 2) those who think Hak has or is starting to underachieve compared to the overall landscape and history that is Fighting Sioux hockey during his tenure to date. I'm starting to slip further and further into #2. Do I think Hak needs the ax even if this squad misses the NCAA... no but the rope IMO should be getting shorter. Not to have one NC with the teams he has had is amazing. Are 4 straight F4s impressive...yes but UND isn't most college hockey programs. We tout the number 7 but #7 was a long time ago. We are due.

    Scheme and execution need to change as well. Dump and lose chase to puck won't get it done...regardless of personnel.
