On a side note there was ZERO TJ Oshie stuff left at the Ralph last night...and that was before the game started. Saw one really big guy with an Olympic Oshie jersey on....2 sizes too small but I'm sure he just had to have one!!!

If you just watched the last 15 minutes of play you would think the score would be flipped.

Miller has looked really good. Probably facing more decent chances than he anticipated so far.

Mafia just texted me....he will be chiming in later here. He is busy baking his famous sticky buns for Dave and his family for their customary Sunday brunch. Said he is making them with extra caramel since the boys got the celebration of TCOS last night!

Fun game to be at. Officiating was absolutely brutal. UND looked different than any other game I've seen so far this season. Maybe some or a lot had to do with Miami but UND pressured and skated and transitioned extremely well. I have always felt that sometimes UND under Hak gets to structured within the system vs. letting the boys go out and just skate and make plays. Maybe it was just Miami laying down early but I would love to see more of the style of play UND played last night moving forward especially with the offensive talent on the blue line. Mattson Schmaltz and Thompson are really skilled with the puck.

USA looking good. Doc just can't stop gushing about TJ. SLO with a little push........

Simply put the first 15 minutes were a can of whoop #%&! Been awhile since a first period started like that in this building. So let me get this right...Mac goes hard to the net. Gets cross checked. The cross check carries him into the goalie as he scores and he gets the penalty and no goal! Did I miss anything???

The UND hockey stars are aligned after Oshie steals Olympic show this morning. UND channels the feel good moment from this morning......4-1. Zane plays big (cause no way Clark plays being winless on Saturdays).
