After this weekend, it just reaffirmed IMO that UND did the right thing in signing the deal to play SU. Big Sky games aside this program, team and fan base need a red circle game. Obviously the FBS games haven't been and won't be anytime soon. Might as well see where this program is at vs. the top FCS dog sooner than later. Plus it is a game that will be good for the state and all it's college FB fans. Bottomline...just tired, embarrassed and frustrated as to where this program is at.

I'm in Missuola right now...other than Griz FB there is nothing to get excited about sports wise for hundreds of miles. They live and breath it here. Way more so than even SU FB in Fargo.

No...common sense say this FB team, under Muss, was absolutely horrible last year. A new coach won't wave a magic wand and change them into a BS contender immediately. And how many times has UND upset a FBS team to date? But I guess being a 3+ TD underdog on the road with everything else factored in screams..."So you are saying there's a chance..." You might as well double down and throw some $$$ on the Jacks to beat Mizzu as well then.

That was really fun to watch...both defenses were absolutely pourous for most of that game.

I'm heading to Missoula Friday to hang out with a good buddy who lives there. I'll bring that game up and his response, as it always is, will be that squad was the worst Griz team in the last 15+ years!

The 2 woodshed beatings by the Montana schools last year really turned away a number of those "non-hardcore" fans.
