Rick Barnes gone....made Dance 16 of 17 years...at a FB school. BJ not gone...misses the BSC tournament...only coach at UND to lose 20 games twice. As Bin has stated numerous times (paraphrasing) the bar is so low for this program a snake could not win the Limbo.

Have a Arizona golf trip planned leaving Fargo that Friday. Will watch them win Thursday with my kids at home then might need to cut my 36 holes short on Saturday to catch the game AZ time. Plus UND has not won the NC when I have attended a F4 since Hak has been coaching. He texted me and was more than glad to hear I wasn't going to make it this year!

If Massa plays like he did at the Midwest regional, I'm sure Blais will like their odds of winning 2 games in Boston.

So basically if UND doesn't win the NC or if they do...same said for Blais and UNO...it is basically random blind luck coupled with a good or bad bounce? If you get to 7 FF in 11 years random luck would probably have rewarded UND with at least one NC...but maybe they get lucky in 2 weeks?

And Panz has one more goal then Murphy this season.................carry on.

That is their year end poll rankings. For the NCAA tournament UND is the overall #2 seed and BU is #3.

The only scenario where things completely blow up IMO is if UNO wins the NC...magnified more by UNO beating UND. If neither UNO or UND wins the NC in a couple weeks, Dean will still be recognized as the HC that won UND its last NC and Hak will still be searching to remove the tag "Can't win the big one". Simple explanation...........

He would if he was the head coach of the men's BB team at UND..............but I digress.

7 FF in 11 years for UND is impressive but if UNO wins it all this season...Yikes!!! "Big Game Blais" legacy among some will only grow and Hak...well...there will be a run on pitch forks.

One thing I noticed Saturday is JS played a completely different game w Panz as his D partner. JS was much more aggressive offensively with the puck. Knowing Panz is a defense first D-man probably let him play more aggressively coming out of the D zone. Nothing against Thompson but this team needs JS to play like a first round pick to win the next 2 games...and Panz might allow him to do that more than KT.

No way...even with the meltdown vs Seattle BJ still will never be as good of a coach as McCarthy. Just compare winning %...in conference play only of course as that's all that matters.

Yah....as did 5300+ others...mostly UND fans...with probably another 5000+ that would have come had there been seats. Just keep working on that scoreboard thing for the Betty if that is a possible solution for the MBB program.

Sorry? Win or lose...it is fun to watch a UND team that competes and plays hard. See that about 3 or 4 times a year from a BJ's squad.
