Buddy of mine who is up the ladder at Microsoft here in Fargo said there will be cuts. He speculated on a number, but said nothing official yet. Considering Fargo is the largest US campus outside of Redmond, and with the expansion building going on right now in Fargo, it will be interesting to see how many jobs are cut from the Fargo campus.

Read that MTU is averaging 1.38 goals a game on the year! Losing a 2 goal lead Friday really bites after seeing that stat. Hope that tie on Friday and the lost WCHA point doesn't come back to bite us in the Pairwise or WCHA down the road.

One word: ICON! I use to shot pool with the K-Dawg and Gretz in the Union when I was in school. Those two are fixtures at UND/GF ahtletics. Plus they have their own Subway commercial...nuf said!

Tonight's game I'll throw into the "must win" category. From a WCHA standings point of view, a win puts us at least 4 points a head of the 6th place team, possibly 5 points ahead of SCSU and MSU-M if lose again tonight. First and foremost this team needs to concentrate on getting home ice for the WCHA playoffs. Wins will help in the Pairwise but getting to the F5 and proceeding from there is what needs to happen...baby steps!

Tech sucks and this team shouldn't be 0-1-1 against them!

He should be! When you have a team that CAN'T score down 2, you should win that game. Will look for better reults tomorrow I hope.

And at 1-13-3 in WCHA play MTU really is the 4th best team in the league...just few bad bounces along the way though.
