I wondered that as well. The Lundy-Stafford-Porter line was all over the place on Fri, creating chances and cycling the puck freely in the CC zone. Weird that he would choose to split them up for the Sat night game. I would like to see Brandt play Fri night against Mankato. He needs some playing time to bring his confidence back up after the UW series. I still believe that he should be our goalie through the NCAA's. His solid play through last years WCHA first round playoffs and the Final Five (despite the quick exit) are proof that he can raise the level of his game with alot on the line. I say give him the chance to prove himself again.

They said during the broadcast tonight that the Fri game would NOT be televised as earlier stated. Just the Sat game will be televised on WDAZ.

Or we could compare this season to the 99-00 team that got swept in Wisco late in the season, played well for the rest of the WCHA season, beat Wisco in the WCHA Final 5 Championship, and then went on to win the Natl Championship. I like that comparison a little better. I'm not giving up on this Sioux team yet, no way. We'll see how they rebound this weekend with CC. If they play well against CC, and do well against Mankato, they could go into the DECC with some confidence and with a winning attitude. Go Sioux!

Wow, dang right that class needs to be good. 9 graduating players is huge, especially considering the low number of graduates that we have had the last few years. I think we had Notermann, Spiewak, and Leinweber last year. And this year just Lundbohm (Lundblum), Hale, and Palmo.

I bet not long at all after coming from the Old Barn! The crowd probably enjoyed being able to watch hockey in temperatures above freezing.

I agree with this with all the possible people leaving after this season: Palmo, Lundbohm, and Hale gone for sure. Bochenski, Greene, Jones, ZParise, and Schneider all possibilities of leaving. Not good, but I guess we'll have to do as redwing77 says and just keep the faith.

I would start the Parise-Murray-Stafford line just so that they get the recognition from the Ralph crowd. Knowing Blais, we'll see how long these lines are left like this! And, thanks again PCM!!

I would definitely count goals and points for Bochenski when the other two are gone. He's part of the line, after all. Do you guys think that Blaiser will reunite this line again for the UAA series when Murray and Parise get back, or do you think he will leave Stafford with the top line again? I personally like Murray up there, adds a lot of speed and he just seems to fit better with the top line. I did notice that Blais was playing them together for the PP's, but not for the 5 on 5 action. Thoughts??

I don't think that Blais will use the senior line if they won't even be together for the USNDT game. Blais will probably just keep lines close to the same as what he's been using, I would guess. And as always, thanks again PCM!! And I'm with Sioux fan in Phoenix, would be nice to keep the top line together for another year!

PCM -- Just had to thank you for typing this out every week, I always read it and then forget to send thanks. I always work late on Wed, so it is always nice to come home and be able to see what was talked about. Thanks again!!

TH said that the preliminary schedules for next year have the Sioux playing a normal schedule again, with series going road, home, road pretty much the whole year. That will be nice to have that back to normal.

I think that the goal of 100 goals for The Money Line will be harder to reach than the goal of 200 points, simply because this team has so much depth. The LOF had 83 goals, but still managed over 200 points, so I think that the points are a much more attainable goal for them. Not saying that they won't reach 100 goals either though, because they certainly have the firepower to do it.
