I'm not sure if you were responding to me, but I don't think Genoway is going to leave after this season.

Wonder why Toews didn't go? Bringing Davidson for a more physical presence, as UAA tends to be more prone to hitting/physical play? Either way, I would like to see Toews more in the lineup. I don't think he fit as well on the top line with Duncs/Gregoire last weekend when Hextall was out, but he has shown flashes of really good play this year. Once he is a jr/sr, he could really be an offensive leader for this team.

I think the way that it was explained in one of the Sioux hockey books is that Chris told Gino that he wanted to play for UND, but that he still wanted to take his last recruiting visit (to UW). Gino told him that if he was going to take the visit to UW, then he wasn't fully committed to UND and essentially told him to go elsewhere.

Fienhage is the extra dman traveling (of course). Also, VV and Eidsness got player of the week honors.

Brad has portions of next year's schedule up on his blog: Merrimack, OSU, Miami, ND, and Cornell for sure. Plus a matchup against the WJC team again.

I doubt Bruess is even at Mankato next season. I had heard that there was a chance he wasn't going to return for this season.

GF Herald article says that both Hextall and Jones are questionable for the UAA series. We'll probably find out more on Wednesday.
