  1. Go to http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=209408284 Click on the Highlights 2-15-14: Men's hockey vs Miami You're set.
  2. Anyone have the video for the two disallowed UND goals? They didn't show those in the highlights on undsports.com Thanks!
  3. You mean the worst (exhibition) loss in the history of UND Hockey?!?!
  4. Nevermind on the comeback I guess. That was a PPG too.
  5. Saturday night letdowns continue. Hakstol just can't get these boys fired up...they don't want to play for him. At least not like they did for Blais. This team will never score more than 4 goals...not in Hakstol's system, at least. Whenever this team gets a lead, they take their foot off the gas. Always. FIRE HAACKSTOOL!!

  7. Not D1 material. I like how he plays...really too bad he couldn't be a Sioux.
  8. I thought that was good strategy...got us off the PP.
  9. Archibald continues his hot streak. Another 2 goals tonight puts him tied for 2nd in the nation in goals. Any chance that Gaudreau doesn't go pro this offseason? BC stands to lose a ton of offense with Hayes and Arnold both being SR and potentially Gaudreau leaving (that's 151 pts between those 3 players with many games left to be played...crazy).
  10. Good post. Rebuilding a team shouldn't take 17 seasons, especially for a superior coach like York. BC should have fired him around season 12 or so.
  11. Not necessarily zero margin. According to Jim's PWR analysis, we should be safe with 6-8 wins. Five wins out of the last 8 games puts us right around the bubble before the conference tourneys. So, in other words, the primary scenario in which we would have to win the NCHC tourney would be if the Sioux win 4 or less games of the remaining 8. Still lots to sort out.
  12. Karl was still on the roster.
  13. Ryan Mantha, D – Indiana Ice (USHL) The behemoth 6-foot-5, 225-pound defenseman is better known for his shutdown abilities, but Mantha also popped in two assists for his second multi-point effort of the year shortly after joining the Ice via trade from Sioux City. The University of North Dakota commit is a great crease-clearer and penalty killer. Draft eligible in 2014. Geez, I didn't realize he was so huge. He'll probably get called for elbowing just for checking opposing players since his elbows will be near their heads.

Dan Hammer was touching it during the Hakstol Show. He didn't get the memo!
  15. Agreed. I would say 2-3 more years (without a title, of course) and then maybe time to give someone else a chance at the helm. If there are opposing fans that laugh at our "lack of success", then they aren't very knowledgeable hockey fans.
  16. He sure hasn't. I guess I needed more smiley things in my post. Is it Friday yet?
  17. Hakstol hasn't had one losing season yet and SS.com is already in near total meltdown.
  18. I don't recall a single UND fan ever saying that titles don't matter. Most of what I have seen has been fans saying that it is harder to win titles now than in years past, for multiple reasons. Which is the truth. BC seems to be the lone exception with their recent dominance. That said, Hakstol has had a few teams (two in particular) that should have brought home the hardware, but just couldn't. Hopefully that will change soon.
  19. It seems like a few on here have already begun their national search. Seven more years of no titles? I would personally be fine with moving on before that if that ends up being the case. Would the administration? That's another question. No losing seasons...25-30 wins a season probably means a couple league titles and playoff titles, just no natty. If attendance is still good and Hakstol wanted to stay, I'm not sure if they would make the call or not.
  20. I honestly have no problem with people questioning Hakstol or any coach. Just the roller coaster ride that seems to follow some fans is just crazy. Everything is fine and dandy when the team is on its streak after the brutal SLU game...then all of a sudden it blows up here after one loss to UNO. Long term...while the fans would "demand" it sooner (heck, they already are!), but I would bet that Hakstol won't go anywhere unless he has a couple losing seasons in a row.
  21. That's weak. I want to hear you yelling for Hakstol's head on the TV if we don't have the lead at any point in the weekend.
