That would certainly be the Bracket of Death for UND once again should something like that happen.
Cincy would come down to whether UM's horrible defense/goalie could stop SCSU's lethal PP (it wouldn't)...and then if UM could score enough goals to offset them (they might).
Worcester is the easiest bracket...three teams that have been up and down this season and one team that loves to tie but is somehow holding onto that #1 slot still. They won't be able to tie with a spot to the F4 on the line.
I would think the winner of the BC/Harvard game advances in Albany. I can't see PC making another run this year.
I love this time of year...games are starting to mean something!
I think I remember reading that they would announce their conference affiliation shortly after their season ends.
Something about wanting the recruits to know which league they'd be in.
So we should find out shortly.
Racine doesn't look to be a very good tender...and their defense has shown even against those bad teams to be a bit suspect.
That 2nd goal tonight for UMN was similar to the Frazee/Bina goal but just from the blue line instead of the opposing goal line. Racine didn't look sharp at all.
And he's going back to the freshman goalie Blankenburg that played against us on Friday at REA too.
He's played 3 games all season.
Dean's always one to add some drama!
Weird lineup for UNO.
The big line that killed us on Friday night at the Ralph (Taco, Guentzel, Randolph) are all on different lines tonight.
Taco is on the 4th line! Wonder what he did to get in the dog house.
I think UND wins 3 of their last 4 and SCSU wins out. SCSU with the #1 seed, UND with the #2 seed and play WMU on back to back weekends to end the regular season and for the first round of the playoffs.
I'd love to be proven wrong though and to have SCSU drop one (or two) against UMD next weekend.
