Hopefully we are(or start) recruiting this kid now that meirkort is gone. While he is a "verbal" to USD, nothing is on paper. Unfortunately most kids choose their school based on coaches, who aren't there by the time the graduate.

Agreed about hendrickson. He's such an odd kid. On the sidleines and everything. Almost seems to me more of like a loose cannon defensive player. Heres an idea, move Hendrickson to safety where he can be in the rotation and get on the field as an athlete.

I think it's appropriate that we take a moment to thank this senior class. They came in knowing that they could never play for a national title, which is what all past and future classes expected.
Knowing some of these I know they never stopped working hard or being true "Fighting Sioux". Thank you for setting the example for all of our "D1" recruits what needs to be done as far as preparation, dedication, perseverance, and commitment. Always hold your heads high! Hoka Hey!
I don't know if there was a better way to send them out. I think we all, as Sioux fans, owe them more than we've given them!

Wisconsin Rapids' Brady Goska is listed as one of the top DBs. He must be Brent's brother. I don't know if we are recruiting him or not. He is 6'1", 185 and wants to go into business - would appear to be a good fit!
I would bet that we are....but that he isn't interested considering what happened to his older brother. Although maybe now that he is starting again...

I would bet they keep the offer. An ACL injury isn't a game changer to a QB. It may make him a little less mobile but not immobile. Most college and pro QB's wear knee braces on at least one of their legs now anyways.

A month ago I would have said CP by 20. Things do look different now. I'm saying UND by 1. 31-30.
I honestly don't think we have a chance against poly IF we give up 30 points.
Against a run option team, generally you need to limit them to 2/3 yard runs, which turns into long(time) drives. I Don't know if we have the fire power to score 31 points in limited amount of time offensively.
I'm going to predict UND 21-17. Go Sioux!

From where? Regardless of location, a track title is impressive but some places they got a bit more competition obviously.

While I make it a practice of not getting into a dialogue with an SU fan, I will inform Sioux fans that we have (or had) two other offers out to QBs besides Tonyan. One is a 2 Star with Scout.
Regarding my first comment above, there are some Bison fans on here who are respectful and rational in their comments and I respect that. However, I do not visit any SU boards and I wish no SU fans visited ours. The ongoing pissing matches get very old!!!
I know of another QB who was up for a workout visit and will be making a game day recruiting trip once the season is over. Athletic kid, 6'4", 800 M State Champion as a junior.

here is something I don't understand...MW has a CB who is playing that is 5'5". Why do we not line up blair townsend on the corner and throw a fade, jump ball...there is absolutely NO way he can stop that...

Bincitysioux...I don't see what is so wrong with using goska as well as it is done in the correct manner. Remember that Florida team that went on to win a nati with a running qb package? Not saying goska is tebow, but he is in the same mold.
Hopefully the coaches can pull up some tape from that year and get some good ideas, jump pass
