I am very happy that MSU won, because I hate the East and it's fun to watch BC lose. I was really shocked last night as I browsed thru thread after thread and the common theme seemed to be that BC just need to get to the arena on time and collect the hardware. Now, by no means was I on here proclaiming an MSU victory but they took a huge shot to the gut from Maine and really showed what kind of a team they are. I figured that if Lerg played well, they could frustrate BC and take em down. At least someone in green won it. I was really different watching the game tonight. Lots of big hits and a great game. All I could hear on Thur was how this penalty or that penalty was called to keep a handle on the game and not let things get out of hand. I guess more than 2 hits a game is letting things get out of hand. And what about that last run at Lerg that finally got called like 2 minutes later? Did Shep have to catch a replay?

Melrose was right that a couple times the D got caught out front looking for the puck and forgetting about their man. BC played well, got a lot of pucks on net, and didn't make too many bad decisions. Sioux PP didn't look right, took a couple bad penalties. I can't help but watch a game like that and think about how some of those calls never happen in a WCHA game. On a side note, Lee probably should have peeled off on that empty netter. Poor kid is probably gonna take the blame since he was the only guy seen in the play.

The bright side is that maybe some guys who would have left after a title, might stay now.

Only game I watched with one friend after the hot streak started was the Denver OT loss, so no matter what was going on, I would not being around him for the game. Then they lost to MN in OT after I specifically left his house, so that superstition ended. (watched the last game with him. might be a new one starting) I was attended 10 Sioux games in the past 2 years. 8 wins, 2 losses. Only games I have ever went to with another friend were Wis and MTech this year. Debating if I can ever go with him again.
