I was talking to a friend this afternoon and said that I hoped that the game was close and challenging, but that we win. We need the challenge to prepare for St.Paul. When I said I hoped we were challenged, I really did not mean playing down to the level of the opponent.

The MN BSU game was pretty one-sided when I was watching during our last intermission.

I can completely understand that refs are human and make mistakes. But that was a pretty clear view at what should have been considered a clean hockey play. Shoulder to shoulder. It is too bad that the tech player was injured. Crap, another tech goal??

It is so heartbreaking and frustrating to see a penalty like that MacWilliam clean hit called. I half expect it when we are out east, but this is the WCHA, you know, the conference that prepares the players for the NHL. Sad to see.
