OK folks, I just watched the entire game, after working until 11 PM. I have to say the first thing that impressed me was the jump in the boy's skates! They looked...... "on task". In a way that I have seen few UND teams look going into the post season. I have hope. Next, Scheel is playing awesome! He made some athletic and crucial saves this game. Good to see! Finally, the coaching staff seems to be on point as to figuring out how to motivate the team. Screw the "this line - that line" BS, at this point in the season, it is all about motivation (and that is something I think Hakstol sorely missed). Go Sioux!

Although retired, I took a part time job, and had to work during the game tonight, so I carefully avoided all media until I could watch it as a recording. wow. What a win. And what a way to win the Penrose! That was a statement game, to conclude the statement weekend, to clench the Penrose. When we stay out of the box, we are a force to reckon with. Our passing has been tremendous and the work ethic of every single line is impressive. It is good to see some jump in the skates again! Since we are playing UNO the next 2 games, it could be interesting. Hopefully calmer minds prevail. I think some of "the boys" are itching for NFL play.

Man, I am really hoping for a sweep this weekend, but I am just not feeling it. Coming off a rest week, I can see the boys taking a while to "warm up". That may make all the difference if we get behind the 8 ball score wise on Friday night. Then a Saturday night butt-kicking win. It would be nice to come out of the blocks fast and strong, set DU back on their heels early on in the game and score a quick goal. I thought it funny that LGDU fears our "physical game", reminiscent of the old WCHA UND team. I see no similarity at all, the old WCHA UND team was WAAAY more physical than the current team.
