This should be a great way to start the season. Not too tough an opponent, but definitely no rollover. A great chance to fire-forge the lines.

Mankato would be a good fit in the NCHC. I think that different schools have different desires when it comes to leaving/joining certain conferences. Some seek out a competitive cauldron like the NCHC or Hockey East. Teams like that tend to get stronger. Other schools want to be a big fish in a little pond, and seek out weaker conferences.

CC Potato Cam still operational? Sheez, it is like they film the games on a ten year old flip phone. Makes me really appreciate the broadcast quality of our home games. Don't even get me started on the of the homer announcers at some of the other schools.....
