My coach taught me as a Pee Wee not to turn into the boards when being checked. These are damn near pro players. They are doing it intentionally.

Not really. They are an older, more experienced team that plays hard-nosed hockey. OK, they might tend to hold a lot. In fairness, I like to watch refs "let 'em play". As long as they call it the same for both teams. That, sadly, does not seem to be the case. I felt UND was persecuted in the WHCA towards the end, and I am getting the same feeling now. Nationals will (and always have) been different. We will have to see how the officiating stacks up.

At this point, I really don't care who wins tomorrow. I am looking ahead, and hope for the best.

Oh, @Cratter it is tough being a top program (as opposed to always having a top team). Everybody paints a target on your back. Think of it as terms of endearment.

We NEED to produce on the PP. Our PP sucks. And we NEED to stay out of the box.

That means the ref dropped the ball on the live play call, and should be automatically reprimanded.
