I told you as much as I know. Perhaps one of the insiders will enlighten us rather than playing "I know something you don't know" games behind the scenes. Given the drum this particular insider has been beating, I doubt that it has anything to do with hockey recruits.

I've been informed via a personal message by one of this board's most well-connected anonymous insiders that something important in UND athletics will happen this weekend. He won't reveal how he knows about this. Heck, I don't even know exactly what it is (although I can guess) or how he came by this unmetionable bit of information. But if he says it's true, well, it must be true. I'm performing a public service by passing the big story on to loyal SiouxSports.com readers in hopes that it gets me nominated for a Pulitzer or, at the very least, earns me a nice NDNA plaque for my wall. So, remember, whenever this big news breaks (it might even be link-worthy), you first heard whatever it is from PCM, your trusty, all-knowing sudo-reporter with more than 12,000 posts of instant credibility.

I don't think the intention is to open this up to suggestions on different logos. If the current logo could be made to look a bit more masculine, I'd be fine with that.

I don't know how much marketing UND does in comparison to NDSU, but say it's an "utter lack of any sort of advertising in any aspect" is playing fast and loose with the facts.

I was getting ready to take my daughter to school. We happened to have the NBC Today Show on when the first report of a fire at the World Trade Center was broadcast. We were watching live coverage when the second plane hit.
