How about if I lay it out like this? If Minnesota had won the games it was supposed to have won against lesser teams, we'd now know which team was better at the end of the season. But because the Gophers choked their season away, all you can do is come here a woof about next season. Is that clear for you? Or do I need to draw you a picture?

I was in Providence when UND won its last Frozen Four. I was not in Albany when UND lost the 2001 Frozen Four. I was not in Columbus when UND lost the 2005 Frozen Four. As somebody here likes to say, there are no coincidences. Better get me to Milwaukee...or else!

Some have asked to see the photo Sioux-cia took of Mike Prpich making one last stick salute to Fighting Sioux fan on Saturday night at Ralph Engelstad Arena. Here it is.

The last time the Gophers played the Sioux, the Sioux won at Minnesota. Two of the Gopher wins were by one goal during the one bad weekend that Jordan Parise had all year. And those games were played at a time in the season when the Sioux weren't playing nearly as well as they are now. I don't think anyone would disagree. Unfortunately, we don't know how Minnesota stacks up against North Dakota at this point because A) the Gophers blew their chance to play the Sioux at the Final Five by losing 8-7 to SCSU (a team the Sioux then beat 5-3) and B) the Gophers blew their chance to play UND at the West Regional by losing to Holy Cross 4-3 (a team the Sioux then beat 5-2).

I believe that you need to step away from this issue and seriously examine your your values. I used to respect that fact that you came here to debate people head-to-head about the name issue. No more. I used to respect the fact that of all the people I heard speak against the Sioux name at the UNDIA meeting, you sounded the most articulate and intelligent. No more. I no longer have any respect for you as a person because of what you have done to Sioux-cia. That you attempt to justify your actions with a flimsy rationalization shows exactly how low you have sunk. You should be ashamed of how you've conducted yourself. How you can even show up here and defend your actions is beyond me.

And I ask again: Which of your rights and your peoples' rights are being violated by UND's use of the Fighting Sioux nickname and logo? How many times do I have to ask this question before you'll answer it?

Nice use of sacred eagle feathers, GrahamKracker. Is that how you show respect for your culture? You use sacred objects as part of a political protest?

Exactly which rights of yours are being violated? Exactly which rights of the Sioux Nation are being violated? Please cite chapter and verse, because I really, truly want to know.

Hey, who are you calling a dumb ass? The media jackals voted for the all-tournament team and the MOP. The only guy I voted for who didn't make it was Travis Zajac. I thought his specialty teams play was outstanding all weekend long. But it was a tough vote.

I could've sworn that Toews was a "he.' But if I'm wrong, the Ralph could play that other classic song, "Lady Looks Like A Dude."

I'm disappointed that NDSU's wins over Montana in football and Wisconsin in basketball aren't options in this poll.

I think it's essentially a toss-up between Carle and Potulny for the Hobey. Both of them have had outstanding seasons and both are deserving. But because Ryan is a Grand Forks kid, I'd really like to see him get it.

It's been explained to you many times in many different ways. You either A) simply don't get it or B) are incapable of understanding it. I fail to see how that's our problem.

I'm not playing, so it doesn't really matter how far ahead I get. All I'm saying is that things are really starting to go UND's way. That's why we need to take care of business tonight and tomorrow night.
