I don’t like either candidate. Normally that means I vote for the party. I used to brag about how tough I was concerning North Dakota winters. As I grow older I don’t brag as much about how tough I am.

I am a North Dakotan. I am concerned about the out of control virus. Not only because of what it does to people (we don’t know all the lingering long term effects of the disease) but what it has done to our economy. we can control our response (keep economy open) but this doesn’t mean the Covid is something to just dismiss as just another virus I will add that I am an admitted worrier. A new record of new cases just released. Over 1400 new cases with over 250 in Cass County. This was a high testing day with over 9000 tests done. Going this way this will be a herd immunity in North Dakota.

I looked up dichotomy and still don’t know what it means.

Who likes Rudy. I think he is a bumbling idiot. Sad. He used to be someone to respect. Now - just retire.

I have said that I am more scared of Trump than Biden. I could go through a long list of what I don’t like about Biden’s platform. I certainly align closer to the old Republican Party. Almost anybody than Trump.

It will be interesting how Sather does in his 2nd year along with which players he keeps and gets. Hopefully, he can move us in the positive direction sooner than later.

I have to give Trump credit in that he knows how to find a way - sometimes even kind of legally!

Jamestown has a special place in my heart. Hurts me to hear they are out. They have been tossed around between conferences. Nice to see that they have had some successes in different sports of late. excited to see what the new football/track complex will look like

I take some comfort People on this thread have shown passion on all sides. I see things thru my colored lenses. It has been enlightening to read the opinions of those that see things differently. I really hope - for the country’s sake - that it doesn’t come down to if the mail in ballots in Pennsylvania that come in after November 3rd get counted or not.

Normally the candidate behind says the polls are wrong. This year nobody has much faith in them. that said, I would rather be ahead than behind - for what’s that worth??

Clearly different opinions on what UND should have done or should do. A self inflicted wound that easily could have been avoided. I don’t know enough about the character of our player today to make an intelligent opinion. I stated before that 13/14 is young but old enough to know better. no winners

This has been an interesting thread. I have actually learned quite a bit about what is behind what others are thinking. I think that is good. I should add I doubt any opinions have changed. I am getting mentally prepared for any results in the election. I guess not the end of the world either way.
