Yeah, the student section needs a lot of work. It makes me mad that they only show up mid-way through the first. And the people that leave early....dont' get me started......steam starts coming out of my ears when I see that crap. The spelling cheer being made fun of by every other school......thats probably half the fun of it.
While after spending 30k to learn to spell Minnesota I should hope the goofer students should be the laughingstock of the WCHA.

Because when it was only played once or twice during a game they would get students screaming at them "play the beer song!"
It was constant complaining that they didn't hear the beer song enough. So now it's a consistant thing. Goal = Beer song.
Can't please everybody and this seemed like a simple way to solve the problem.

There was last year at the Western Regionals.....that's the only time I have ever felt it. And I liked it.....I liked it a lot.
Saturday when Kaip beat the crap out of the UAA boy you could feel the electricity in the building we need more of that more often. (not the fighting or we could never field a time but the feeling that it produces)

REA doesn't listen to the students. Dom is safe.
We had a drunk woman saturday start yelling at us because we never played the flight song. we did it at least 10 times. Also people complain because we are to loud.

Maybe we should build a second arena so we don't even have to leave the city to win a NC. Worked well for the Gophs.

Good point. The Ralph has GOT to be a great recruiting tool. If I was a recruit and rolled up to that place.......I would probably sign the dotted line before even stepping inside. I think the outside of the arena is nicer then the inside damn near.

Oh I agree - and I'm 6'5'' 240lbs. Bina has shown his edginess and Finley has not - but I believe it is there just waiting to be brought out under the right and provoked circumstance. Like so many big guys - he has probably never been really challenged before.
Anyway - enough on this - from me anyway.
