Many years ago I heard that UND does NOT get a share of the revenue from the National Tournament because of the fact that we are Division I in hockey only. Can anyone shed some light on this subject? If in fact UND does not get revenue, isn't that alone enough reason to make the move to D-I in other sports?

With all of the blueliners and goaltenders back the only holes to fill are up front next season

I like what you said jimdahl ..... I have to much class to say the things in my previous post to Brian Lee's Mother, however I do think this is the proper forum to discuss his play of the past season.

I respectfully disagree sioux-cia. What is bashing? Can't a fan have an objective opinion of how a certian player is playing?

Well first of all I do NOT hate Brian Lee. I have been critical of him on this board and with good reason to be. "IMO" his play this year took a step backwards from what he showed as a freshman. Last year I thought he would become the defenseman that we lacked to be able to rush the puck however he did not show that at all this year. He looked slow to react on the ice, his foot speed was slow, there was no urgency to his game and he took the body less this year than last season. Secondly, if he gets eaten up by what some posters say on this message board (why is he here reading) or by some fans booing at home games, he will get eaten up and spit out at any other level he plays at. Reminder I do NOT think people hate or dislike Brian they have only been critical of his play this season and that .................... comes with the territory! If Brian has a stellar year next year I will be the one that will praise his season.

I DO have a point ... they are the 2007 Champs as you aptly stated .... there was no inferance on my behalf that we played them !

I agree totally with you I too was at the game and thought the boys didn't have a very good game however after getting home and watching it again it was closer than it appeared while watching it live .......... and as for Shegos THAT WAS ONE OF THE WORST CALLS I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE AND TOTALLY HAD A HAND IN THE OUTCOME OF THE GAME. Also not getting back on the 6 on 4 short handed goal was a killer Some of the BC players should have had skirts on the way they fell to the ice while drawing 2 or 3 of those penalties

Yes 1-9 for me too but I will add #10 also .......... So many great players and coaches over the past 30+ years!

I am with you ! It would improve our home ice in the new Ralph if we went back to the green helmets and breezers at home like in the old Ralph ! ( ok ok the different atmosphere has something to do with it too ) Bring back what worked in the old Ralph ! ................ oh and bring back an 8th National Championship on Saturday Night!

Pats Weenie is brutal, he is the worst play by play announcer of all time, of any sport ! That rediculous little laugh he gives off countless times during a game is so fricken annoying, that sharp scissor in the eye would fee better than listening to him ...... We have a first class hockey program so let's get a first class play by play guy to do the games on FSSN
