Hak on with TH now. NOT a smart performance by the team tonight...worked hard enough for one period to stay in it...too many 80-foot cross rink passes with people's feet standing still......heck of a challenge tomorrow night....certainly an "egg" tonight....not a good week of practice...similar to tonight....."we have guys that are over six foot getting "knocked on their can"....Toews doubtful for tomorrow, but no medical opinion yet.....there's going to be some "lineup changes" anyway......

I figured there would be a bit of drive time. My colleague in Phoenix did a project at Navajo Nation, and I think it was about a 5+ hour drive.

Where did you fly into? I spent quite a bit of time in Phoenix, and I remember that the Nation wasn't very close to any metro areas.

I'm on the fence, but I don't think I can bring myself to do it (openly cheer for NDSU that is). If I knew an NDSU victory would force Maturi's hand to cut Mason lose, then it's a no-brainer. I will be at the game tomorrow reconnecting with an old NDSU friend, so I'm hoping for a good game. I think Spaeth and Logan Payne will be the difference, Gophers by a couple of scores.

Always entertaining hockey when these two programs get together. I will be listening in via the audio stream tonight. Between periods, I will be hosting a game show called "Name that Corny Game Show Theme". I have no prizes to offer.

Maybe the NCAA would come to the conclusion that it's too much of a hassle, just ban UND from post-season play all together. Perhaps they could implement this through executive action. Maybe UND is suing the NCAA to prevent such future action. Just thinking out loud.

The fans here would be thrilled with a New Year's Day bowl every now and again, sprinkle in a Big Ten championship every 10-12 years or so. You know, like Purdue, Wisconsin, Iowa, even North-friggin'-western has been to a Rose Bowl in the last 12 years. The status of the Minnesota football program should be unacceptable to their supporters.

The coliseum dances in the mid-80's were great parties!

Ferentz inherited a MESS at Iowa, look what they've done. Tiller came to Purdue the same year as Mason came on the scene, they've accomplished MUCH more than U of M. Did it take Alvarez 10 years to turn Wisconsin around? No. Hell, Ron Turner took Illinois to a Rose Bowl. Mason had his chance. It's time to start fresh.

I hope he stays, JFR. And congrats on the success. We'll be following right along with you. I hope you guys run the table and turn the BCS on it's ear. Good Luck!
