MTV Cribs hockey edition: REA home locker room as depicted on the Spittin’ Chicklets piece, versus the Maryland Heights locker rooms. Your impressions?
-
As he should be. It's asinine. The host schools wield too much influence over the brackets.
-
Nothing would delight me more than finishing dead last in this bracket challenge.
-
I picked an ultimate Axis of Evil Frozen Four: Denver, Minnesota, Boston College, Michigan.

Great Lakes Invitational spring edition here we come, LETS GO!

To-do list: 1. e-mail President Armacost 2. find other Saturday afternoon activities this fall

Barry Alvarez was very aggressive in pursuing the formation of the B1G hockey conference, that's how I remember it.

Detached blood clot. You do the math.
-
Gotta kick there. Then you're working with a more complete set of information when it comes time to go back on offense.
-
The USC gig aside...you saw the trajectories these teams took post October 14th, 2023, correct? Apples and oranges my friend, big time.
-
A guy like Eddie George can probably open a lot of doors for him.

NAIA and a perennial GLVC D-2 cellar dweller? Let's get serious, good lord.

Anyone know if they (he...Kelly) plan(s) to run a National Signing Day podcast in Feb.?
-
Some crazy takes over there on many many subjects.

With the exception of about a half-dozen schools (maybe), hockey is a complete afterthought in the AD's office.
-
We are spoiled with Heinert. Every season he stays is gravy.
-
This hire is best case scenario given the situation IMO. Congratulations to all.

This post aged like Susanna Hoffs, Elizabeth Hurley, and a fine wine.

@Mama Sue December of 2013. Hired the current HC.

I'm sure Chaves has a short list in his pocket of the next Liepold, DeBoer, etc. Like any excellent AD would. <insert emoji of your choice here>.

That's a conundrum. Committed to San Diego State, but a once in a lifetime chance on the other hand.
-
If this actually comes to fruition, I urge all of us to contact President Armacost's office post haste.

First off, the Englestad's have been beyond generous to UND, nobody can deny that. I can only speak to the optics, which is to say the REA seems less like a gift and more like a business arrangement. Is a revenue distribution agreement between a property management company and an athletic department a normal thing? I'm thinking it's not, but I'm not close enough to it to be sure. To compare, the T. Boone Pickens gifts to Oklahoma State seem to be done differently. Not as much funneling of funds to specific programs. And no, I'm not envious of hockey. I'm as big of a fan of that program as the next person here. It's the dynamics between REA Inc. and UND Athletics that seems unique and quite odd. I'll hang up and listen.
