Social media has contributed more to divisiveness in this country than Trump, McConnell, Pelosi, Schumer, or any other individual politician, just my opinion. Thank you for the lesson in message board etiquette, duly noted.
Objective journalism is dead. People on both sides are absorbing their information from echo chambers based on pre-disposed beliefs, and it's contributing mightily to the problem.
The Dems behavior at the Kavanaugh hearings took things to the next level. I would venture to say the straight up partisan vote on Obamacare was when things changed.
Guys like Matt Gaetz and Ro Khanna give me hope, but they continue to run into obstructionism by the long tenured swamp creatures. "The Swamp" on HBO. Very informative and eye opening documentary.
My opinion, not that it's worth much. This has very little to do with January 20, 2021 and everything to do with January 5, 2021, November 8, 2022, and November 5, 2024.
The GOP essentially won the election. Two run-off Senate wins in GA will solidify this.

Here's a novel idea. Allow voting for a two-week window or thereabout. Require in-person voting with valid identification. Close the polls at 5 p.m. local time on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. Count the votes immediately thereafter.
