So if you look up Tony Samuel (ex-New Mexico State and current SE Missouri coach, ex-Nebraska player) and poke around the Nebraska coaching tree and go one or two degrees of separation...you can come up with a list of highly qualified candidates in a hurry.

Another poster, I think UND92,96 threw out Nebraska Associate Head Coach Barney Cotton as a possibility? There are ties with Faison there that go back to New Mexico State.

I'm definitely warming up to the Bollinger idea.

Having seen the billboards, I'm going to out on a limb here and say it has much more to do with enrollment than "ticket packages".

Too long. Three years would have been plenty. I know that in college athletics the optics on anything less than five might look bad, so that's arguable. Just my opinion.

UND football did not complete, in three home games, against the top of conference. It was not competitive, read the scoreboard. 50% - 80% of seats have been empty and it's trending the wrong direction. Given these very simple facts, how can staying the course be the "right thing to do". That's mind-boggling to me.
