Exactly...but some people here think Lucia should blow sunshine instead of pointing out an area in Vanek's game that he needs to work on. Nowhere in the article did he say he should stay in school to work on that weakness.

I don't remember anyone predicting Martin would have made the transition as well as he did. Wasn't this board filled last summer (around draft time) with claims that the Devils were the best organization in the NHL by far...and more specifically, the best in terms of player evaluation.

If player's attitudes mattered more than stats, then Caldwell would never have gotten any awards. Ballard wouldn't either.

It's near 3 in the morning and I saw one questionable comment from a Gopher fan in this eight page thread. I have yet to see a thread started by a Gopher fan about this loss.

Or that Minnesota gets away with blatant high sticks. Or that Vanek won Rookie of the Year last season because of politics. Or that Bochenski got booed after the title game. No I was referring to the Harrington that had two assists and one third period penalty. I think you were referring to Riddle who had three first period penalties.

They lost six games all season with Ballard and Harrington back in the lineup (24-6-2 including 2-1 vs. North Dakota).

How did I forget it? I responded to the statement that Briggs had no experience with the fact that the other WCHA goalies were equally green except for Brandt who got pulled after two periods against Ferris.
But thanks for reminding me....JJ also got pulled against Ferris but that was after one period so Brandt wins again.

Have to agree Mafiaman....Potulny said after the game that having the PA announcer from Mariucci Arena gave the team the extra jump in their legs they needed to beat a vastly superior team.
