I find that all reasoned and logical except that one of Sheppards goals is to have the Gophers finish undefeated every year in league play as well.

I understand that it's an exciting play, but you are blocking a fan behind you so that they don't see the play. They just don't have time to react to your standing up (or are down the chain.) I think you should wait to stand up after the play. The lady behind me is very olderly and would have no chance at all to stand up in time.

I think you have to consider the impact. During the break-a-way rush if you stand up the guy behind you may not have time to stand up to see the play. If he does, the guy behind him may not have time. As I get a bit older (and heavier) I don't jump up right away. So do you really want to make it so someone else misses a great play? I understand the excitement and during certain key plays it's ok to stand up (like the last minutes when we had our goalie pulled.) But it won't hurt you to sit until the play is completed but it will hurt someone else if you stand.

The coach can't over react because he has a game to win. He's got to get the team to play and not worry about the call. That doesn't apply to the fans. Crap

If you're going to get penalized make sure you earned it then. And I hope Lasche does find out that Mr Fienage plays in front of the net differently than Chay. Especially since they got a slow whistle goal last night.

If adam makes the call he's required to make, ironically the NCAA took all discretion away on those hits because of adam, then Hextall doesn't have to step in.

Nothing happened in the arena at that series that hasn't been going on for years and years at games.

Hennesey said he's out Saturday night. Did he also say that Chay took a crosscheck to the back of the head. Adam was the one down there and saw the whole thing from 30 feet away. He wasn't making the call. Proof positive was when they called it on the wrong guy. Now that I think about it, when 18 was skating off the ice he was pleading something. I guess he had a point. There's no excuse to have Don Adam in the game.
