Another weekend where we can't take a shift off. It'll be nice when we play a soft opponent, but looking at the schedule we won't really get that until mid January.

I just thought I'd let you know it was a thing of beauty. Trupp totally sold the zeroes that he was going to the one side of the goal and dropped the pass off to Malone for an easy goal. I feel sorry that you missed it.

There was an article or interview where Chay talked about it. I think he was at shattuck and they had room at defense for him but not forward. Imagine that.

I have tickets already, but I thought I'd point out how rare it would be (should it occur) to have a non-conference game at home where you're playing for #1 ranking for the country. I'll bet it's never happened. I hope that we hold our rankings (or flip flop) after this weekend.

I wouldn't call it a police state. To me it shows the WCHA knows their officials are usually wrong. If I'm at the game I'll sign in to SS and find out what happened.

That's true, but the guy behind you might miss the play all three of those times.

Well we're so great on the road that there's not much to be gained from being at home. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

That's why I don't personally get upset when someone stands up. They aren't doing it to be rude. They're just excited at the play. Dawdling down the steps so that you're expecting me to stand up during play is another thing. I'll sit down on the steps if I have to until the play is stopped.

If you were to stand in front of me I wouldn't be upset with you getting excited and standing up. I'd just rather you didn't stand because someone back in the chain is going to miss the play. I don't think you want that either. Personally I'm tall enough that I can usually move around and still see the play without standing up.
