I remember the goal that Diggler is talking about, too. He was the only player left in the zone because the puck shot out so fast that the transition happened right away. AFter realizing he was the only one on that end of the rink with the goalie, he had to hustle down to the other end. Wasn't the goal light even on?

That's neat! I never noticed that before.

Technically I think the linesman who saw the goal should have blown his whistle when he saw the puck go in the net, because as Hennesay said, if UND would have gone on to score a goal before the next whistle, it wouldn't have counted. That's why it's a shutout in my mind.

Speaking of head games, I hope the fact that the students started chanting "Andy Kollar" at the end of the game last night boosted his confidence in himself.

The 4th line last night was Canady, Palmiscino, and Faul.

There's always Saturday night, Sicatoka! Was anyone else surprised that Canady didn't set foot on the ice for Friday's game? At least I don't remember him playing.

Beware, though. Whenever the games are on channel 6, they can never seem to start them on time! Especially Friday nights. The Michigan Tech series was the last time they had the games on Channel 6, and the feed didn't pick up until there was about 12 seconds left in the first period, so you missed the first 5 UND goals and first Tech goal. Saturday night they managed to start on time. It's frustrating. I would try to pick up one of those student tickets if I were you.

If DU is a defensive minded team with a great goaltender, much like MSU, and considering our record against MSU, does that mean we can expect a much better game out of these guys? I hope so!

None of you guys knew about the Saved By the Bell episode!! Man, I grew up on that show! Speaking of Screech, apparantly he's coming to the Chester Fritz Auditorium for a comedy act sometime this year. I don't think I'll be attending that performance.

Dagies, Zach Attack is the name of Zach's band on a Saved By the Bell episode. It's not actually a real band. I thought everyone knew that, and that was where people got the idea to call it the Zach Attack. Maybe I'm just too young. But you can download the song Friends Forever (at least I did off of Napster last year) if you want to be up on times.
