I head as long as 4 weeks....thats off the ESPN website. not too sure though. turns out he didnt need surgery, so could be less. hopefully another week and he'll be back out there.

I would love to say that there is too much that this team has lost in the last 2 years that keeps them from winning as much, but really, there isnt. Toews, Porter, Lee....those are the 3 most influential we have lost, and stafford, Zajac, and Smaby before that. We still have most of the core from last year, and we have skill that has stepped up. Just remember, we are Spring team, and I have a feeling things will really turn around then.

haha ok , ill go for that ...but yes, no I know what you mean, but he has beat some good GTers, and has been up against some others that he hasnt beaten. he still has yet to get a 2-goal game, but has 2 (or 3) 3-point games..doing very well.

I'd have to say Toews is making the jump to the NHL quite nicely....he already has scored goals against: Frederik Norrenna-2 Marty Turco-1 Chris Osgood-1 Ilya Bryzgalov-1 Evegeni Nabokov-1 Jose Theodore-1 JS Giguere-1 Johan Holmqvist-1 Ray Emery-1 Dan Ellis-1 Chris Mason-1 Tim Thomas-1 JS Aubin-1 maybe not all the BEST goalies, but still....Turcs, Ozzie, Breezy, and Nabs are all good.

it was a very nice goal. he got the puck back to him off the faceoff and he just unloaded the one-timer. bounced off the post into the net. awesome goal

Ok, so I am putting together a huge sports-themed room for my fiance and I, complete with Carolina Hurricanes, Denver Broncos, ECU Pirates, and UND Sioux stuff everywhere. Commodore had the secondary assist last night on the GWG with 1:06 left in the 3rd. passed it up to Trevor Letowski in the slot who tried to tip it in, but it missed the net. Cory Stillman got it, came around the back of the net, backhanded it from about 5 feet out from the side of the net, and it bounced off of Vokun's pad into the goal.

well, he has been up and down. this will be his second game this time up, and 6th overall this season. so far no points, but games he has played in the canes are 3-2. hopefully they will make it 4-2 tonight lol. i bet he loves to play with Commy.

listening to the game I couldnt believe they didnt get any goals. i mean, it sounded like they were pouring on the shots, esp in front of Connolly, but still couldn get anything in. they need to convert those shots tonight, maybe try and get more rebounds off hard shots.
