I was in the section (much higher up, though). I couldn't tell what had happened. I just saw them ejecting some guys (looked younger, probably college age). Then after the first two guys got taken out, a bunch of people started chanting "Get the old guy! clap, clap, clap clap clap". Then they finally figured out who everybody was talking about. Never did find out for sure what happened.

I assume I'll just see a group of people wearing sioux, gophers, or green (mafiaman's) jerseys, but is there a certain rink number that we're at? Just curious how I find everybody once I get to the rink.

The only thing they look out for is first round intraconference matchups. Since the Sioux and Gophers aren't matched up in the first round, it's ok.

Some how, the latest bracketology on USCHO has the Sioux as a #2. I'm not sure how they get up to #6 since they're 8 without the bonus and 10 with. Anybody care to shed some light?

Then TV replay says it was a goal. I can understand only using one camera during the regular season, but in post season they should be able to use all available cameras. That being said, I'm glad they didn't count it.

Isn't that against the rules? Or is it only against the rules once the player has signed a letter of intent?

Athletes usually are on scholarship. Just like the band, until they start getting paid (in tuition or other form), they have the perfect right to take their breaks. Part of it, is that if they live on campus they have to find another place to stay, since the dorms close. I'm not sure what the athletes do.

Did you check ticketmaster? I just bought my ticket for Friday's game and got a set on the club level. Then again, I was only getting one ticket, maybe 3-4 would be more difficult.

So was there a decision on what we're doing for jerseys?

Yea, they would, because they would be the 4 or 5 seed, and the winner of that would play the Gophers.

I would not want to play Wisconsin in the tournament, though if we do, it likely wouldn't be until the championship game, and they would be thorougly tired out by then.

For those who care, Roseau is winning 4-0 over Grand Rapids with 12 left in the 3rd.

Didn't Denver get swept out of the first round of the tournament one of the recent years they won the national title?

1-0 Goofs after 2 periods. 2-0 Roseau after 2 periods. Both games just entered intermission.
