  1. This is the third year that the "stinkin' band" has been down at center ice.
  2. Was that one 5-on-4 goal and one 6-on-4 goal?
  3. Remember, the Sioux have never lost a game in which they've scored at least four goals.
  4. Good thing Lammy's ok.
  5. He saves it all for on the ice, just like he should.
  6. There's no way they can call that off.
  7. Not to turn this too technical, but the video quality can only be as good as the network infrastructure, which, sadly, won't be good enough for internet streaming video until everything get's a massive upgrade. But you're right. For the size of the university, and the quality of the athletic programs, it should be expected to get this type of treatment, but that doesn't mean we should take it for granted.
  8. Sometimes I don't think we realize how spoiled we are that we get video feeds of all hockey, and now basketball, games. Even when it was just streaming audio, it's still so much more than most schools.
  9. How was the video last night? Did it have audio with it, too, or was the audio a seperate feed like it is for basketball?
  10. NOW you tell me! haha. I'm definitely going to have to watch it tomorrow. Hopefully it's still there.
  11. Sun, Jan 02 Southwest Minnesota State at Marshall, Minn. L, 68-71 Sat, Jan 08 Nebraska-Omaha * at Omaha, Neb. L, 72-77 (OT)
  12. Well, hopefully for hockey they put them in the same stream.
  13. It's not in there, you have to open up two streaming media windows, one for video, one for audio. Pretty mad delay with the audio, though.
  14. I got an offer for AARP car insurance when I was 22.
  15. It's a guitar player. Can't tell who, though.
  16. You think that's because of how much we hammered the server when the Sioux were up there?
  17. How extensive of gear do you guys usually wear? I've got shin guard, helmet, elbow pads and will be buying gloves. Is that enough or do you guys wear breezers and shoulder pads, too?
  18. I always related it to the same motion that the ref does when he points to the net signifying that a goal was scored.
  19. One of the Wild players did the same thing from center ice last year, flipped the puck in for a line change and it went in the net.
  20. #1 in the Top 10!!!!!
  21. I'm with you on this one. I've met him many times and had many conversations with him and he never gives off the impression of anything except pure respect. I understand him getting pumped up for wins at home, but I don't see it happening on the road.
  22. Ok, any rink that is built correctly is 200 feet long Yea, there are some exceptions, but the difference between NHL and Olympic/International ice is the width, not the length.
  23. Every rink is 200 feet long. The width is the only different (85 feet vs. 100 feet). Bina was about 2-3 feet in front of the Sioux goal red line, and the goal is 15 feet in front of the redline (per the NCAA rulebook). So that makes it: 200 feet - 15 feet - 15 feet - 2 feet = 168 foot goal.
  24. It's hilarious. He's got high point scorer on the team, and goal scorer in the league but he's always talking about how all he does is stay out of the way of TJ and JT and let them do their thing. Fortunatly, their thing is giving him the puck when the other team focuses everything on JT and JT.
  25. Gophers scored, what, one even strength goal this weekend? That's pretty amazing. By the way, what did Phil do? I didn't see him do anything.
