Yep, it was. They didn't want to make sacrifices and do what would benefit the whole conference. Notre Dame only cares about itself and wasn't willing to give up its NBCSN deal. I'm glad the rest of the NCHC didn't bend over for Notre Dame and accommodate them when everyone else was on board.

I just wish Notre Dame would have convinced NBCSN to do a deal with the whole conference.

Montana Grizzlies' 1st game at North Dakota, in 1915, was 'probably the most sensational ever played on the local grounds'

Montana’s players were described as having “a formidable appearance.” The linemen weighed between 180 and 200-plus pounds and were called “great strapping fellows,” and the players in the backfield were said to be almost as big.

    Good Stuff right there.

RT and UND f’d up in 2003. No protective argument from me.

Should have went D1 when SU did.  For that matter, should have went when Montana did.

  4. Edit: I can't figure out how to embed a twitter link.  But it appears that Zimmerman is at the top of the depth chart for QB per

I figured we could have a separate thread for fall camp.

Basically, Kennedy flew out to Vegas, made introductions and left the discussions to the adults.  The end result of the discussions is the North Dakota logo stays at center court and UND thanks the mega-donor foundation and family for helping them navigate this thorny issue.  Someone at NDUS decided to get involved and establish what was going to happen IMHO.  I'm hoping the REA extends the facility management contract further as I'm confident once UND and NDUS get control of the building it will become a huge property tax boondoogle for the city to support the building (see TRF experience). Especially since UND can't manage the money they have now and with ND looking at making even more cuts to Higher Ed funding....

Is this what you have heard happened or just speculation? Thanks for the clarification.
