  1. I have one ticket package in section 378, row 6, seat 6 that I'm willing to sell for a starting price of $350. I only needed one ticket, but I had to buy two for $700, so now I'm selling the other for what I got it for. Please message me back if you are interested.
  2. I was talking to one of the BCHL coaches awhile back, and he said that we in favor of that idea. It's hard though, because the week after the BCHL/AJHL champ meets, the winner then plays for the RBC Cup, that tournament goes well into May.
  3. What would be interesting is that if both their teams win the league titles respectively, they would match up the following week in the Doyle Cup (which matches the BCHL vs. AJHL champions).
  4. Hopefully Lammy will shut down two of the three finalists next weekend and show why he should've been in the hat trick.
  5. I would say more than likely. He actually wanted to play in the Regional (meaning he thought he was ready), but it just didn't work out.
  6. Actually that's a good question. Before I posted I forgot that he was injured, so he may not be playing. Either way, it's still a good tournament to follow because there are many good recruits in it.
  7. David Toews and Shattuck St. Mary's will be playing in the USA Hockey Tier 1 18U championship starting tommorow. You can follow results and statistics here, http://www.usahockey.com/Tournament/Tourna...DivisionID=1277
  8. I love those buses, especially being a college student at the time.
  9. I wasn't informed on anything, but it may have been Danny Mattson. Sometimes we have committed players come up for games (Kristo, Gleason, and Nick Mattson already have this year), and Danny isn't playing right now so it may have been him.
  10. Hammy posted this on his blog, here is the full list of players invited to the NTDP tryout camp, which starts next week, Goaltenders 1. Jack Campbell - Honeybaked (U18) 2. 11. Here are my WCHA picks for this weekend, CC in 2 UND in 2 UMD in 3 UMN in 3 UW in 3
  12. The reason I included the AJHL in my statement is because we have a top ranked goaltender coming in here next year from that league. I obviously don't consider the AJHL on par with the USHL and BCHL, but I would give it a slight edge over the SJHL and MJHL.
  13. From what I have observed and experienced, Don Lucia is a class act and I don't think he would do such a thing as Nanne is suggesting. It's the unwritten rule amongst coaches to stop recruiting after a verbal, and I don't see it changing.
  14. The number 1 reason he left the team was because of an off the ice incident that I believe has been mentioned on here before.
  15. Our coaches don't take players just because of the name on the back of the jersey. If that were the case for example, we would have offered Jordy Christian or Jordy Murray, which we didn't. The coaches have the credentials in knowing if Dayne can play at the WCHA level. This is just pure assumption, but if they really wanted to bring him in I would think they would have him play a year or two in a better junior league (USHL, BCHL, AJHL) and have him come in 2009 or 2010.
  16. Did I ever say anything about not bringing in a goalie next year? No. The goalie we bring in isn't going to be a blue chip prospect who is going to start everygame. The player we bring in (if we do, there is still a possibility of keeping Landon Snider) is going to be a solid third string goalie. As for the recruit, no respones until there is a commitment. I'll just post it if it happens, like Big A HG said, I didn't guarantee it.
  17. From what I understand, we will see more of Walski next year. This isn't to peg him as the starter or even half time, but he will definetly be playing more, maybe 1/4 or so.
  18. I think before people start questioning his job, they need to let him build his own team first. Keep in mind that most the players on this years team are still Rich Glas recruits. You have to let a coach bring in his own players and build them up for a few years before you start questioning his job.
  19. Hextall had a goal in their win against Vernon last night, they are now up 2-0 in the series. I would expect Joe Gleason to finish the season in Green Bay. I think what will be interesting is to see if Danny Mattson decides to play high school next year or play for Omaha.
  20. Hextall had a goal last night in game 1 of the BCHL playoffs. Game two between Penticton and Vernon is tonight.
  21. From what I understand, Genoway is a day to day right now. He may be back this weekend, but more than likely next week or the week after. I would say his chances of being back this weekend are pretty slim, but a possibility.
  22. From what I understand, we've been looking at him but there has never been a visit or an offer.
  23. I think the reason that UND is developing an increasing popularity in the cities with young players is because they have seen the success of recent twin cities players that have come out of here (Parise, Bochenski, Stafford). This isn't to say that we will win most of the twin cities recruiting battles (the Gophers will still reign as the top team), but I do think that some of the players mentioned above have layed a framework for twin cities players coming here.
  24. Here's part five of the story on Mattson, it talks about his commitment to UND and coming to visit for the Gophers series, which is a little interesting, http://www.startribune.com/sports/16319131.html
