I'm not saying NDSU isn't a good school, just to be ranked in the national rankings is good in itself. The thing that gives UND the better ranking is the top aviation school in the country and the fact they have a med school and a law school.

Why do you just assume that NDSU and SDSU would affect UND getting into a conference? Any conference will make their decision based on who they think is the best school fit, it has nothing at all to do with what has happened in the past.

Looking at Sac St. basketball arena, they could use it, that place is a dump. My high school gym was nicer than that.

That's exactly what I tried to say earlier, NDSU and SDSU are going to have nothing to do with UND getting invited to the Big Sky or any other conference in the matter.

I'll have to agree with you on this one locogopher. This year is a prime example of why the best team doesn't always win. As good as Wisconsin was, I still feel UND was the best team at the end of the year, one bad period of jitters ends the season. I also feel that BU was better than BC, but BU can only beat BC so many times in a year. They could've played 10 times and BU would've won 9 of them.

I actually don't think it would be in the best interest of NDSU to be in the Big Sky. The Big Sky doesn't have sports like wrestling, baseball, and softball. They also have mens tennis, which is something NDSU doesn't have.

If UND decides to make the move up, just because both UND and NDSU would be in the same divison, doesn't at all mean they have to be in the same conference. Take University of Florida and Florida State, huge rivals, not far from each other, but different conferences.

If the Big Sky ever decides to add teams, which right now is likely, they will make their decision based on who they think is the best fit for their conference. They're not just going to accept NDSU and UND because they were rivals and they want them in the same conference. Not saying that both will not get in, but the decision will no be based on the what has happened in the past.

That's is athletics bud, competition, competition, and more competition. NDSU shouldn't be pissed off because they should realize UND is out for the benefit of UND, not NDSU.

Many of the Big Sky, Mid-Con, Missouri Valley, and Horizon League schools don't get over 4,000 fans for a basketball game. With the exception of the NDSU game, UND could easily play D1 basketball in the Betty.

It was a young group of kids playin in their first Frozen Four. They basically came out and played one bad period because they were nervous.

Think about is this way. It took the Gophers 20 some years to finally win it in 02. It took Denver 30 some odd years to win it in 04. It's taken Wisconsin 16 years to get back to the championship game. Six years isn't to long of a break.
