After reading the old thread on the retired number 12, I found out from Goon's post about Joel Otto. I was at the game in Bemidji friday night and saw his name hanging from the rafters and wondered who he was.

DL should play south again. Not that "far cry" anymore. Right now South is a far cry from RR. An 8-0 game shows that.

Last night was my first trip there. It reminded me of some of the hockey games I went to when I was in high school and I thought it was a great place for a game. (other than the doofus that sat behind me and kept saying "Geeze, look at the score...and we only have one drafted player.") I wanted to let him know that their drafted player will probably never play in the NHL, but felt I had better be nicer than that. Not sure why though.

The first time I saw him do that last night I had to wonder what the hell he was doing. Then he did it again. Must think it makes him closer to the action of the face-off. I dont see how it possibly gives him any advantage. I'd think a person could knock him on his a$$ pretty easy with just a *bump* to his foot or leg.

Sorry about the shirts HockeyMom and RWTD. Mr. Siouxmama and Siouxmama Kid drug me to Gander Mountain and didnt get out of there in a 'timely manner'. I looked at the arena for some, but they only had 'Bemidji State' stuff.
