I was wondering...June...July...August? Games start early fall, so I'd think they'd have some practices in before August, but I don't know. That's why I asked.

i'll put it here because it's the top thread... anyone have any idea why the former players thread was closed? it may have been answered in another thread, but not going digging through all of them oh, and osh getting the better of toews right now as blues up 4-2 in the third. one assist for osh, two for toews. almost as fun as watching sioux hockey

I missed being there, but had a 12 year old that needed her Mall of America fix. Was a good trip for me, too. I was able to purchase a Nook. WOOT WOOT!!!

Any word on the Kangas interview from Friday out there? Or at least can someone sum it up. I just heard he had a meltdown and said he hated our fans, arena ect...I would like to see it
Sioux take it pretty easily today and the Gophers season is officially over.

It was on before the start of the game, just a clip of him saying he hated this state, this school, fans, everything about ND. Dont know if the entire interview is there somewhere, but there didnt seem to be a meltdown. Just the short clips of some players. He also said it was going to be pretty intimidating (for the Sioux), having a team like the Gophers coming to town. Hmmm....not friday night anyway.

Totally agree that the crowd has to get busy and make some noise. It was fun and loud on friday night, but the place had a hush over it last night. Make some noise and get into the gophers heads...especially Kangas' head. He hates our fans? Make him hate us more and send them home for the year!!!

P.S. I LOVE the new song they play with the goals. Catchy tune.

Kozek had two goals and was the number one star of the game in Chicago's win over Lake Erie today. It ended in the shoot-out.
Good game. I think the shootout went into either 8 or 9 rounds!!
Koz had 2 goals in regulation and another in the shootout.

1st, congrats to all of the US athletes that completed in the Olympic games. You all worked hard, and I am proud of everyone.
2nd, see my sig line.
EDIT: While getting a silver medal is better than not getting a medal at all, I didn't see any of the US players (mens) smiling when they had the medal placed around their neck.

Do you live on or near a reservation? What Big wrote about are facts. I've seen it, and you can go to most reservations and see it. Unfortunate, yes. But it's true.

Back at home in front of SIOUX fans, Kristo is back from Jr's (and he didn't have that far of a walk from Saskatoon). I think Frattin will be pumped to play in front of the home crowd again and I see a sweep coming. GO SIOUX!!
