That's fine. It's your prerogative. It doesn't make you a bad guy, just "bandwagon" that's all. If you are going to stay home during the toughest times of the transition, then stay home during the good times too.

have you ever noticed that the departments that are so anti-logo are housed in some of the worst buildings on campus? O'Kelly (communications) hasn't been updated since the '40s, Babcock (Anthro) is about ready to fall down, and Merrifield's (English & Indian Studies) lecture halls are a flashback to the '70s. Maybe these departments should take a lesson from Aerospace, Business, Med, and Law and do some fundraising for better facilities for students instead of writing pointless letters to the Herald saying "how bad it is at UND" I have been here for three years and to be honest it really isn't that bad.
In regards to the previous post that isn't an isolated incident most of the anti-logo profs give failing grades to those who are for the nickname.....Now who's being racist?

I can honestly say that I was wore out after the championship game. I have never cheered so much for a team that wasn't the sioux. I think the Sioux Crew members and myself had a lot of fun doing the irish cheers as well as doing our own (Seive cheer, Beer Song, you sit chant, and of course just yelling Rudy in the third period.) I met up with a couple of irish fans after the game and they could not believe our (North Dakota's) passion for hockey. That in itself is a sense of pride we should all feel.

Whenever I listen to Gary Thorne calling a UND game he seems to favor toward the UND side. He also loved Michagan State's goal last year. I believe Thorne at the beginning of his career did play-by-play for Maine hockey.

I know Scott personally and he is a great person. When I was just starting out in radio I was 15 and he invited me down to Fargo to sit on his show. What an experience for me as I am not going into broadcast I still do it as hobby largely in part of Scott's input and help.

If you're watching CSTV have you noticed that they have not used the phrase fighting sioux or even sioux in their broadcast it's always UND or North Dakota also they don't use the Indian head on their scoreboard just the ND

According to the FCS site it looks like SIU has some openings...do you think Lennon might try to schedule a game against UND in his first year as head coach at SIU?

It's pretty sad how many people continue to leave the men's games at halftime when there's a doubleheader. Granted, the first half performance wasn't good, but that doesn't seem like a good reason to leave, particularly since the men had been playing good ball the past few games.

Today in the herald there was a viewpoint from a teacher at SCSU about how the Sioux name was so terrible and I want to ask her this simple question. "What are you doing about the continued problems on your campus?" i.e. death threats from students to teachers calling teachers Nazi's and posting Nazi imagery in their department mail boxes.
I get so sick and tired of people who think they are constituents of the university, when they really aren't...More than likely this person does not have a degree from UND, does not live in North Dakota, does not have a kid attending UND, currently attend UND, and does not give money to UND....frankly if you don't meet the above qualifications you have no say and you should worry about your own problems and not somebody else's...

One thing we have to remember is that the EERC also wants that land that the Old Ralph sits on I suspect a wrestling match between EERC and Athletics in the next 10-20 years

I thought students had a choice whether to go to Central or Red River?
