  1. unh guy slapped it in with his glove. ouch!

merose just said he hasnt seen a goal scored with under 3 seconds left, he must have a short memory :( damn unh

    AZSioux

you have to remember barry is a huge Nodak fan and poor gary thorne without bc or nodak in the tournament he might just skip the f4

  2. A wise man warned us here many times that what you post is read by many, and not always those looking out for your or UND's best interests.

That man left here because he was made a pariah by those who disagreed with him when he pointed this out.

Turns out PCM is simply a man ahead of the times.

    I miss PCM

  3. What a stupid and painful argument you guys are having. You have managed to turn a perfectly good thread into complete garbage. I had a hard time trying to find the last post that was actually about the 2009 schedules and beyond. Can we just get back on topic please?

Well I will give it a shot....What are the chances of Northern Iowa coming up here to play since we went down there two years ago?

  4. As a huge Bison fan, I'm also jealous of this schedule! Have you checked out our schedule yet? Yuk. Valley City and Jamestown - seriously? I love how Coach Ruley brought national prominance to womens bb in this area, but wow, the scheduling over the last 4 years has been horrible. If you're recruiting the same athletes, would you rather play Wisconsin, Utah, and Oregon at Frost Arena, or VC and JC? No brainer. The schedule needs to get better! You (und) should be scheduling as difficult as teams as possible as soon as possible - no doubt your team would compete - winning some "name" games early like SDSU did gave them instant credibility and now look at their schedule. First post here and I'm guessing most of the time it'll be smack talk, but I'll give you props when props are due - like your women's team and your TT football game! :silly:

Welcome to the board...and thank you for giving credit where credit is due as I believe most UND fans will give credit to NDSU where credit is do in return. Unfortunalty there are alot NDSU fans that are complete idiots on this forum.

  5. I believe first year he medical red shirted after a neck injury in high school his senior year, then red shirted the next, and the last two years he played counting as his freshmen and sophomore years. But I believe now since UND is moving to division I they are much stricter on the medical red shirt and that was taken away from him so instead of being a Junior he is now a senior. I could be wrong about that.

    I think you are correct

  6. Really you think ALL these schools would had agreed to go DI 10 years old? 5 years ago? Is that why UND and USD are in their current situation?

I believe UND, NDSU, USD, SDSU, should have gone D1 ten years ago...they all should have jumped shipped when N. Colorado did. Even though that was about 7 years ago

  7. Ummm...let's just say this would have been an interesting discussion topic ten years ago, but I think that ship has sailed.

no one said we couldn't dream big....I think all of these schools would have to agree that it is an opportunity that should have been taken.

  8. I couldn't agree more.

FSSN should be seen primarily as a marketing tool for the university. More games, both home and away, should be televised even if some of them will lose money. UND should be in control of the broadcasting decisions and should fund the shortfall as a marketing expense.

FSSN should be about exposure to Fighting Sioux athletics and the entire university. It should be about marketing the product. It should be about attracting new interest in the product and strengthening existing interest. It should be about getting people invested in Fighting Sioux athletics. To get people invested these days, people have to see the product. Once people are invested, they will go to more games, they will get involved, they

  9. What about Hennen's new station? AM 1100. I have heard that it is so powerful that it will reach into Canada and as far south as Iowa. I think it would be foolish not to negotiate something with him.
