Students still stand in line for a long time for Sioux-Gopher games. We stand in line for most of the games. This year I actually stood in line to get into the game for longer than I waited in line for a ticket.

Nolan is younger than Kelly. I don't remember how old he is though. I thought he was like 14 or so, but I could be wrong.

How do you display you are a Sioux fan?
siouxforeverbaby replied to JESUS,family, rutgers's topic in Men's Hockey
14 shirts, 2 sweatshirts, 1 Pair of sweatpants, 2 fighting Sioux signs, 2 pictures signed by the teams from that year. A flag signed by the team, a puck from the first game at the Ralph, a coke bottle from the first game at the Ralph, two green flags from the ralph, a license plate frame, and I can't remember what else. -
well, my boss is male so I doubt it, but you never know. I work on campus, though so..

WOW! that stinks, my heart goes out to them. Hopefully people can band together to help them clean up!

Studnent Section for 06-07 Hockey Season
siouxforeverbaby replied to ChicagoSiouxFan's topic in Men's Hockey
From what I have heard they can't actually move the students until they do a seat reassignment or some such thing which they won't do for another couple of years. -
Thanks for being a good influence. i might have to just to see Commie. Plus I could probably get out of work if I work since my boss is a huge hockey fan too.
-
do we know when on that day since it is the first day of classes and it is never a good sign to skip the first day.
-
only if we could find you, seriously that scared me even after knowing that it wasn't TJ before i read it.

WiSioux letter may have been delayed but I have yet to get a response to my e-mail to good old Pomeroy. I e-mailed Conrad and Dorgan and have heard from both of them. makes me wonder a little. I can't say anything too bad about him though since my dad knows him.
-
the only thing about that, that makes me wonder is if he transfers wouldn't he not be able to play for a year essientially ruining the whole point of transfering to play more because by the time he would be able to play again, he would be getting more time in at UND. plus Hak and the others must have seen something in him that we haven't seen to have him on the team in the first place.

If you are talking about the one in the Turtle Mountains, they no longer have that so you are slightly safe there. I wish I was going to WeFest but as between West Regional in March and the ND State Fair the past two weeks, I have no extra money that is not tied up with school so.... I hope you guys who are going have fun. Don't go too redneck crazy though.

He was quoted in an issue of Sioux Illustrated as saying that his dad inspired him to want to become a math teacher. my kind of guy.
-
LOL! Thanks for the memory!
-
Just found that as well. That would be fun, any idea when it will be finalized and we find out for sure?

I like how how the scoring sheet or whatever that was at the bottom of the article had Chris Porter, Jonathan Toews, and Tyler McGregor right in a row.

Nice video from what I could see of it. Bad internet connection and it would stop every two seconds. but I will defitnitely go back and finish it when I get a better connection.

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Ok, got that off my chest. Good-bye and Good-luck to Jordie though i may continue to not believe this until October. Better for the mental state of my mind. jk. Hopefully, we don't lose anyone else.

I heard on today's noon news that the jury selection got postponed due to a computer glitch. Is it true or what really happened today?

T.J. is 19, he turns 20 on December 23rd. so hey it is legal. now, if it was the new goalie, that would be a little sick.

The hockey team is somewhat smart, if you don't believe, see this article. http://fightingsioux.com/sports/mhockey/re...RELEASE_ID=4737 It specifically states that you have to have gotten at least a 3.0 GPA for two semesters or a cumlative 3.0 GPA in order to get on this team. And that three of our boys have made it two years in a row. So, yes they may not be what the NCAA considers excellent in graduation rates, but when you have as good as program as UND does, you can't expect some of them to hang around until graduation day.
-
Think we could get him to come play at the Ralph for a game sometime. Commie would fit in real well in the student section, I'm thinking.
-
But don't we know that that worked in the case of FSU! Though I do think that some people would take it wrong if it was mixed in with all the Sioux hockey pictures, so a separate room or area would be better. Though, can the university do that since they don't own the Ralph or the land that it is on?
-
I would say federal case though in North Dakota, since the NCAA is a national institute, but UND is in North Dakota. that is what I figured anyway.
